Thank you for your interest in having Nik and Ruth come share at your event! Their goal is to grow the Kingdom of God by sharing truths and practices learned from believers in persecution and from their missionary experiences. They speak at churches, schools, events, groups, and sending agencies.
Nik and Ruth are gifted teachers of Biblical truths and leading experts on believers in persecution, having done extensive research on believers in over 70 countries.
They have a vast understanding of global missions by serving as missionaries over 35 years, in Malawi, South Africa, Kenya, Somalia, Germany, Ethiopia and the Middle East
Sharing these truths and practices requires an investment of time from both Nik and Ruth. Therefore, priority will be given to requests that are able to accommodate teaching and learning interaction across 10-20 hours. In turn, the Ripken’s commit to making the time that is given to them, and the resources invested in them, worthwhile for the hearers.
Ruth is a featured speaker at women’s retreats and workshops. She shares how to engage other women with the gospel with four essential steps: learn their worldview, model biblical faith, open homes and build bridges. Ruth also can teach on practical ways to communicate the truth of the gospel to Muslim women.
Also available to speak is Anthony Ball. Anthony serves on the NRM team, and is also a church planter in Texas. He is passionate about leveraging his experiences in places of persecution around the world to help churches in the U.S. establish cross-cultural work in their own backyard, and to be initiate best practices in reaching the nations.
The Ripken’s encourage an event to include Erskin as worship leader. Erskin through music gives the persecuted believers a voice. He models how ‘we’ sing together, to ‘our Father Who art in heaven. Get more information by answering on the form below “yes, we’re interested in Erskin”.
Nik and Ruth prayerfully consider each speaking request. Because they receive so many requests, and because the Ripken’s time is limited, they unfortunately cannot say yes to every opportunity. They have parameters that guide which events they are able to serve. The following guidelines help determine the best invitations to accept:
